Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a safe procedure for renewing the skin, correcting shape, reducing wrinkles, and smoothing out scars. PRP is your blood that is drawn and reinjected back into your face. It contains growth factors and a concentrated source of platelets. The platelets collected in PRP are activated by adding Thrombin and Calcium Chloride which induces the release of these growth factors.
PDO Thread Lift:
Is a cosmetic technique that helps induce collagen, lifting and tightening sagging skin tissue. It involves implantation of absorbable PDO Threads of polydioxanone sutures via fine needles which are similar to those used in surgical sutures.
Mesh or Lifts:
There are two types of procedures with PDO Threads:
- The first one uses smooth threads and consists of creating a mesh under the skin (i.e. 2 sutures inserted vertically & 3 sutures inserted horizontally). Sort of like a # hashtag, or a net. This net will serve as a foundation for the new collagen production. This technique tightens the skin naturally from within. Results will appear naturally without drastic change.
- The other Technique (using barbed threads) is used to produce more dramatic and immediate results. The PDO sutures have a barb wire, which provides a grip underneath the skin. Sutures are inserted the same way except they can be pulled in one or two directions, creating instant skin. Just like the smooth threads, the skin will then build new collagen which will secure the lift.
Is a procedure that uses a device that has tiny holes/needles that pokes holes in the skin causing micro-injury which results in prompting your skin to stimulate collagen, filling fine lines and wrinkles, and achieving a younger look.
Common areas to be treated are:
