Mesotherapy is a nonsurgical cosmetic procedure that rejuvenates and tightens skin as well as removes excess fat. It’s also known as lipotherapy or lipodissolve. Mesotherapy agents are Phosphatidylcholine (PC) and Sodium Deoxycholate (DC). Phosphatidylcholine (PC): Is the most commonly used agent for cell lysis. It makes up about 40% of the human cell membrane. Most PC used in Mesotherapy is of soy origin.

Deoxycholate (DC): Is a bile salt and is FDA approved as an additive to amphotericin B. There is no FDA status as subcutaneous injection.
